I'm contemplating a different crop of this one but can't decide how. I thought maybe a square crop would work good, but I don't want to crop out any hair. I don't really want to crop out the negative space either. Let me know what you think.
I think you could crop out some of the hair, either turn it into a square or with a right had focus on the bug, compensated by the negative space on the left. If you do that though you probably want to warm the colours of the negative space somewhat.

yes, unfortunately I had to shoot quick as bugs don't seem to cooperate for very long. I did snap about 8 or 10 really quick, some with the bug in better focus, but the buts legs were extended, which people don't seem to like. I think they prefer their ladybugs as cute and non-insecty as possible. So I chose this one rather than one with better focus. It was a tough decision, but maybe I'll put up the other one at a later time. Thank you for your comment.
