Description
Working on some techniques for night photography, trying to figure out my light meter. The shot was taken over the span of 430 seconds or (7 minutes 16 seconds). As the title suggests, The constellation in the photo is the big dipper, and it appears to travel across the sky over the span of minutes captured in the photo.
Still shooting with-in the city, in 2 weeks I will get a chance to shoot at my parents farm which will offer much clearer skies, and many more stars.

eye of tom is great... check my star trail shots and conversations for ideas... a flat country should be great for them but don't hurt your sensor
