In west Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys, they were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighbourhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-air"
Not really though,
Grew up in a small town in Minnesota. Then I ventured to the far far away land of North Dakota, nearly two miles from the border with Minnesota.
I became interested in photography because I wanted to remember my cats forever. My mom said using film on cats was a waste, but she was just traumatized because as a child a cat urinated on her brand new recital dress. My photography is mostly natural stuff or abstract things. I took a break for a few years because in my mind I framed so many photographs I couldn't take with my camera for one reason or another. I found that to be very frustrating. In my hiatus I found that my new hobbies and distractions did not create anything of lasting value like a photograph, so I intend to return to photography, slowly.
